Anki Card Template

Download the pre-built Anki deck template. Import it into Anki once — it sets up the card layout with the correct fields for translation, explanation, audio, and images.

Download Anki笔记模板_V1.apkg
In Anki, go to File → Import and select the downloaded .apkg file. You only need to do this once.

Recommended Workflow Tip

When watching YouTube or Netflix, use Google Chrome and install the Language Reactor extension. It displays dual subtitles and lets you click or copy any line of dialogue instantly — making it effortless to grab a sentence and paste it into this app.

Search "Language Reactor" in the Chrome Web Store to install. It's free and works on both YouTube and Netflix.

How to Generate a Card

1
Select your Target Language (the language you are learning) and Translation Language (Chinese or English).
2
Paste a sentence or paragraph in the target language into the Text field as context.
3
In Learning Focus, type the specific word or expression you want to learn.
4
(Optional) Record audio with the Record button, or upload a screenshot.
5
Click Generate Card. The AI produces a translation, grammar explanation, and reading guide (Japanese).
6
Review the card. Click Regenerate for a different explanation, then Save Card.

Export & Import into Anki

1
Click the Export button in the stats bar. A ZIP file downloads — extract it to get the CSV and all media files.
2
Copy all image and audio files from the ZIP into your Anki media folder:
macOS: Finder → Go → Go to Folder (⌘⇧G) →
~/Library/Application Support/Anki2/[Profile]/collection.media/

Windows: Run (Win+R) → type %APPDATA%\Anki2
open [Profile]\collection.media\
3
Open Anki Desktop.
4
Go to File → Import and select anki_cards.csv.
5
In the import dialog, set:
Note Type: Anki笔记模板_V1
Field separator: Comma
Allow HTML in fields: ✓ Yes
6
Click Import. Your cards are ready to study!
Exported cards are removed from the app after download. Your card count resets to 0 — this is expected.
